Haptic Master, basis also for GENTLE/S project

HapticMaster is 3 DOF haptic display by Moog FCS Robotics. Was used as a basis of the GENTLE/S EU project. The system was demonstrated to be suitable for use as a rehabilitation device for the training of the arm movements in computer virtual environment.

Technical System

Interaction between technical system and human

A: Multi-sensorial data acquisition

In order to measure the psycho-physiological states of participants, different kind of data acquisition methods are used e.g. motion, forces, velocities, ECG, skin conductance

B: Displays

Different kind of displays e.g. visual, acoustic, haptic) are used within MIMICS in order to give feedback to the participants about their physiological state and performance

C: Data processing/Sensor fusion

Data measured will be further processed and analysed online to adjust the displays i.e. feedback
